I learned yesterday, some construction terms, as my dad helped me hang pictures in my room, at my new house.
Level, I knew. But plum, I did not. I always learn new things from him. We’re a great team because we have contrasting interests, Hence mine: writing, as well as photos & all kinds of art, really. So creative expression essentially. Hence why I worked in a theatre when in college (studying communications & non-profit leadership) Where as my dad’s interests are more practical – thank goodness for that. How things work, the way they work & why.
From the free dictionary online (my favorite source of definitions now, besides Urban Dictionary)
Plumb:
In a vertical or perpendicular line.
So, now I feel, quite decorating prepared, with the help of my dad of course – sorry Tese, but you should be fairly used to my reliance. With a mix of beauty & knowledge, how can you go decorating wrong?
