I just had this realization as I was watching “Ask Me Anything”: Even when your life is very hard, someone has it allot worse. The main character in this show (a teen girl) hears her father has just died. And it’s the 1st episode 
This emotional intensity, sort of signifies what this show will be like.
Thing that’s very difficult (for me @ least) is that the main character is really cute – so even just to briefly watching her struggle and reside in pain, is very hard (hence why I’m writing this now – I needed a break).
Mmmk, going back to the show now.
It’s quite clever too – that’s a semi-rare & wonderful combination.
OK, they weren’t messing around about the intensity. It just came out that her step dad molested the main character when she was young. Yikes. Mmmk certainly not a comedy, noted. Not sure this will become a go-to. But I don’t want to give up now! I’ve committed to one episode at-least.
