I relieved a new yoga mat recently (thank you Emily) & I not only love this product, but I also adore the company that made its mission. I’ll let you asses it for yourself:

My mat is green too (my new favorite color) – as my old fave was red, (which I still love & appreciate) but after spending months in the hospital, I tend to be less enthused about.

Mine looks like this (without the cute boy, of course ;)) And regardless of it’s beauty, it’s quite functional as well. Funny enough (though I guess it’s not funny, having recently lived at a yoga farm for a moth) after breakfast (and yes, I do realize the oddity of this time choice as an empty stomach is usually promoted with yoga.) I decided some stretching was in order, simply, to promote a balanced day.

I went through an easy series of plank, downward dog, warrior 2 & then (I don’t recall what this is called) but I faced side ways, brought the arm that was pointing forward above my head, and then the arm that was extending back, reached across my tummy.

FPM-aOver all, a great way to begin the day. I promote starting your day this way. It encourages balance & alignment (of every kind).
