🙂 The thing about the HUB (I leave off the impact part, generally :)) is it feels like a work-home to me. It was my co-working space for the last many years in SF & luckily, while I’m home recovering in Seattle, there’s one here as well. The HUB essentially is a co-working space (perfect for entrepreneurs) to accomplish whatever it is they’re working on. Generally, the HUB is abreast with opportunity & structurally contains a kitchen (with fresh-brewed coffee – key for my very Seattle-like coffee affection) + many tables to set up your lap-top and outlets as well, for any plugs you possess. Generally, for me then, it means writing (or the preparation necessary for writing a good piece) like research, for instance. For this piece, I attempted to figure out what the HUB actually stands for. Given that the H, U & B are capitalized letters, this gives me the impression that it’s an acronym. But for what- I must admit – I’m not sure. To be frank, I don’t think I ever did knew :/, I always just thought of it as my co-working space, in which I could accomplish whatever I wished.
So opportunity, is really what it boils down to.
